Not surprised there.

All of a sudden you’re 55 percent lighter.

By using kilograms she can honestly say (as I did when I turned 72) that she weighs less than her age.

If she only had a scale that measured in tons.

She could think that she weighs almost nothing.

True … 1 lb = 0.45359 kg

Does she also measure her waist in centimeters?

People always honked therir horns at as and flipped us the finger when passing if I foregot to change the speedometer back from KPH to MPH and drove the posted speed limit after driving in Canada.

If only.

Shouldn’t it register 0 right now?

A coworker and I often compare our weights. She is a petite Asian standing at 5’2" tall. She weighs 99 lbs. I am a male standing 6’4" tall and currently weigh 96 kilo. So I tease her about weighing less than she does.

The word is “fewer,” not “less”. There’s a difference.

Maybe we should have gone metric after all.

I’ve got my scale set to stone. Those things are 14lbs each. So I am quite light. ;-)

Perception is overrated.

So that’s how you sell the American people on switching to the metric system.

I am now pondering this …
