    An Epiphany for Karma!

Justin Read the blog entry. You did a great job on this story arc! Will we see a return of Theseus? That little Greek kills me!

    Thanks for the backstory, Justin.

Wow, that’s really taking improv to the limit. And, unlike the stage, you’re all alone and it’s recorded! I admire your courage (matched only by your talent)

Love the blog entry, Justin! Love the strip, too!

I hear the definitive book on the Tao (other than the Tao Te Ching) is 562 pages, all of them blank…By the time you finish it, you feel like an uncarved block…

Funny how this sort of thing can come back and bite you. Thing is, you need material things to make life possible. You need immaterial things to make life worth living.

Read your blog - loved it. Keep at it, Justin, you may not yet know it but you are creating a comic that will be considered a classic in the future.

Rhadamanthus, I believe many (most?) of us believe Mythtickle already is a classic – and improving with time.

The writing, the artistry, the depth of the characters–all of it is wonderful!

    Keep it up Justin!

Beware the man who denigrates material things; he has his hand in your pocket.

J2P2: I understand that in the Zen version, each of the 562 blank pages bears the koan: THIS PAGE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK.

Or was that the version produced by the Training Manuals Department at IBM?

    @Night-Gaunt49

It’s not the material things per se but the ATTACHMENT to things that are so detrimental to one’s health.

Boody is so cute. I wish Mythtickle had plush toys. I would so love a stuffed Boody. And a stuffed Gif. Whatever happened to Gif? He jus kind of disappeared.

AH! But would not plush toys and the attachment to them be materialism? Hey, I’d be willing to risk it.

Honestly folks, I HAVE looked into this in the past, and it is over-the-top-expensive to produce plush and I think you would resent the asking price I would have to request for that. I so wish I could do this but my strip just does not generate enough $ to justify the costs. If I were truly syndicated I could see it. But web-syndication = fantasy syndication.

    Justin, a couple of suggestions.

how about drawing a pattern, and then those of us who sew can make our own stuffed characters?

You have a lot of talented readers, how about seeing if any of them are willing to sew up plushies to order and not charge you a lot of money for them?

I know someone that makes plushies at times. I could put her in touch with you. Maybe you could work something out with her.

How about boodie on a cookie? http://sfadson.picturecookie.com/
