Transformers, pliers in disguise.
Now, just add some of the stuff you brought from home.
Needs moar cornbread. :)
This strip is the worst of the 35 that I view. Even worse than Hazel!!
Great Idea Nancy! Now to get started…………..
Ha! My favorite so far.
Haha! An amazing set of panels today that speaks of a reality many of us have experienced. The imagination often far surpasses reality.
This is an ESPECIALLY great effort today, IMO. I laughed out loud AND I felt sympathy for Nancy at the same time…. the cheesy “beginners” robot materials are so very far away from what she was envisioning that is no way she could not be despondant.
What kid hasn’t experienced this magnitude of letdown, in some form or other?
She has that same expression I get when I first unbox IKEA furniture.
The last time I handled gear like that was 50 years ago and we were building an analogue computer – of sorts. Repeat – that was 50 years ago.
Gotta start somewhere I guess
I am really enjoying the new Nancy. It is a lot funnier now than it ever used to be. Usually, if I don’t like a comic, I don’t read it. It doesn’t make sense to read a comic I don’t enjoy simply to leave snarky comments.
Ha, very good nancy, very good
I laughed at this for about five minutes straight.
That face in the last panel is priceless.
