In private business fraud is prosecuted by the government. Do you expect the government to prosecute itself, or it’s leaders? That is what the states should do. I propose a new rule. When any federal official ends his (term limited) term, he returns to his home state and goes before the grand jury in his county to see if he committed any crimes. Then if he is, he should be tried and if found guilty, punished. Just like a truck driver who is always assumed guilty when pulled over because the policeman can always find something to write a ticket, so a politician in my humble opinion is surely guilty of something.
