There is MORE COURAGE shown by the Drag Queens at an average Drag Show then there was shown by the ENTIRE Uvalde Police Department.

That’s the most treacherous NRA claim yet !

The first thing to check out with your political candidates these days, their coveted NRA rating. That can quickly point out if they have succumbed to the gun lobby with campaign donations and then voting to support their cash cow, the gun (and precious military accessories). Cash over morals any day with that sellout crowd.

It’s a real show, where I live, watching these NRA type people fight amongst themselves about how to actually implement this. I’m talking about our school board and PTA arguing whether to arm teachers or not.

Their number one problem is that none of them want to actually pay for arming teachers. They are willing to force teachers to buy guns and ammunition, and pay for training and permits – without compensation. Of course, those same teachers already have to whip out their own credit cards to buy enough classroom materials… and most people agree that they’re not paid very well…

Their number two problem is that they cannot agree if it is really safe to arm teachers. Some say that teachers of minority races shouldn’t be armed because minorities are responsible for all of the crime. Some say that teachers are liberals, and liberals are violent and dangerous, so they shouldn’t be armed. Some realize that many students (especially in high school) are big enough to disarm a teacher…

So in the end, nothing is done except rounds and rounds of useless grandstanding…

Unbelievable that racist, teacher hating trolls are allowed to roam about so freely. Guess that’s what their concept of freedom is all about. Despicable

Yet liberals want us to depend on these brave warriors to keep us and our children safe, because it isn’t good to have many people running around with guns./s

The fear of death prevailed over those that faced death! May those GUT-WRENCHING CRIES of these defenseless children HAUNT these officers for the rest of their lives.

Oh, my! You cannot teach bravery. It has to be experienced.

Those officers stood down and thus gave a platform for the gun grabbers.

If a teenager has a weapon so powerful and deadly that it can cause an entire police department (who are equipped with the same weapon) to cower outside while innocent lives are slaughtered, then there is absolutely no justifiable excuse to allow such a weapon to be in the general public’s possession.

I believe the point here is that even if the “good” guys have guns, they aren’t necessarily going to take out the bad guy.

I saw some ammosexuals on Twitter correcting others that these were “sport rifles”, the AR doesn’t stand for “assault rifle”, etc. Kind of missing the point when there are bodies on the ground.

Interesting country you have there where the police are outgunned by the randos.

Hmm. Could the officers who stopped others (by “orders” or otherwise) from going in to the rescue be charged with being accessories to murder?

The ONLY thing that stops a bad guy with a battle rifle is hundreds of cops with battle rifles and shields.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The Second Amendment calls for regulation. And if you need a battle rifle, then you NEED to be in a “WELL REGULATED MILITIA” and held responsible for providing security and maintaining your own troops.

Guns don’t kill people. People kill people . . .uh, usually with a gun.

Maybe ONE good guy would do the trick, but 230 good guys sort of cancel one another out . . . ?

Of course, when it comes to arming a Ukrainian soldier, suddenly the GOP is not so interested in stopping a bad guy with a gun.
