Aren’t the police supposed to be the “good guys with guns” that are supposed to protect and save everyone?

Every technology from fire and the wheel thru nuclear power and the internet can be used for good or ill. It’s up to us voters to choose lawmakers who can tell the difference.

If a 16 year old said that she wanted to adopt, she would be told that she was not yet mature enough for the responsibility, and wouldn’t be able to afford the cost of raising a child. But in some states, if she’s raped or molested, or if the pregnancy turns out to be ectopic (fatal for the pregnant, non-viable for the fetus), or otherwise deadly and/or nonviable, too bad. Now they’re working on banning birth control, the pregnant crossing state lines, and arresting woman for having a miscarriage, as well as outlawing interracial marriages, and also outlawing marriage (and the accompanying rights) for the non-binary. And if pregnant then imprisoned until she has the baby just in case she might have other ideas about her own body than having a baby.

I’m a man and don’t like abortions, HOWEVER I will not impose my will on someone else.

If you are going to force a woman to carry to term are you willing to support the woman and child for the rest of their lives or are you going to abandon them at the moment of birth? Are you going to abandon them to a life of misery?

The Government can’t force you to give blood. Or donate organs. They can’t even use your organs to save lives after your dead unless you consented to it while alive. But they can force a woman to give birth?

Would not be surprised if airlines/Greyhound refuse to transport women across state (from red states) lines unless they are negative on a pregancy test least they are sued for aiding and abettng in an abortion.

This brings up an interesting point; will women in the Red States have to register if/when they become pregnant? Will the State monitor women during childbearing years to ensure they don’t try to make any independent decisions about being/becoming pregnant?

True, I am a muckraker. However, I wonder how many Japanese Americans living up and down the west coast could have envisioned being taken from their homes and interned in detention camps during WWII simply because they looked like the enemy? Finally, I wonder how many women thought that the Choice question was settled 50 years ago when the SCOTUS said a woman has sovereignty over her own body?

When it comes to human beings, if you can imagine it, someone out there will eventually try to do it. Right now, a large section of the country wants women’s uterus to become the property of the state. We will see what the future brings.

Since the sign reported, “Not pregnant,” I assumed this had something to do with women’s access to abortions, not overreaching police power … though they are different peas in the same pod.

With new installations, you can just wave at the switch to find out if you are pregnant. Note this appears to be a “people” pregnancy test rather than a “woman” pregnancy test. :)

Once the woman is pregnant, she must be restrained from doing ANYthing that might potentially harm that sacred fetus. That includes dangerous things like crossing a busy street . Why, if she’s not in custody she might eat the a cheeseburger or leave the red state to visit family and friends and get that abortion after she was raped. Women are not going to be citizens but broodmares, livestock to produce children that can grow up to be soldiers for the corporations.

Make no mistake, we have at most two more elections to turn back the “pro-life” conservatives. If we don’t, don’t think the Constitution will protect you, because it will be tossed out just like everything else the conservatives don’t like.

It’s all about power, control, and money and who has them.
