I don’t know why, but I always thought the reincarnation started at the bottom of the food chain and that we worked our way to the top – a long journey – as we learned how to be our best soul. Of course that means we could be reincarnated next as bacteria or viruses!
Not following or even believing in any of the gods has nothing to do with believing in the possiblity of reincarnation. That is a belief fairly common among hunter-gatherer and horticultural peoples and although they tend to believe in ancestral spirits and/or natural power-beings they aren’t necessarily deist.

Reincarnation sounds good, you are better off trying to get things right this time around.
The good news is that you do not have to be prefect; and I will leave it there.

If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I’d like to come back as an otter.

With the current state of the world, not sure if I want to come back – or have a society to come back to.

We’re doomed, I tell you! The whole bloody lot of us! Fred Astaire quote from the original On the Beach movie.

Nope. It doesn’t work that way. Heb 9:27 “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,”

If Kamala was reincarnated she would come back as a Karen minivan driving soccer mom and vote for Trump.

How come no one has mentioned Archie and Mehitabel? Now there was a good study of reincarnation.

Unfortunately, you’ll never know until it’s too late. Also, what’s with the “but”? You could believe in an atheistic version of reincarnation.
HidariMak about 2 months ago
Even though I’m an atheist, it’s still nice to occasionally fantasize about karma. Justice in the next life if not in this one, and all that.

I just think of all of those people who will feel so silly when they wake up after they are dead to find out there is no afterlife.
