I’m so grateful that I’ve lots of woods within walking distance. But I will be driving out to Richelieu for a picnic in the woods, this afternoon… The roads will be clear though…
Claire and Paul are oblivious to the area’s back roads where few tourists wander. My area in eastern Canada has loads of hardscrabble roads bursting with fall colours. Just a note: bring your GPS so you can get home!

Reminds me of the Mohawk Trail back when I lived in Massachusetts! But the trees were worth the traffic!

In PA where I grew up one could see many wonderful fall leaves. Then at some point you could see mine slag piles as well.

Looks like the Kancamagus Highway in NH to me. Normally a 45 minute drive that can take nearly five hours during peak color.
