Better yet. Keep it in the boat. Then throw it way back on shore.

If “recyclers” actually recycled them instead of just dumping their loads in the ocean…

Rather than putting the onus on consumers, the manufacturers should be made to discontinue this practice of using plastic immediately!

I read that the phrase ‘carbon footprint’ was created by an ad agency for a petrol company. Why can’t manufacturers create better packaging alternatives? It seems they’re creating the problem, and downloading the onus for a solution onto consumers.

I’ve done this for years, but rarely need to, anymore. It takes only seconds, and will help the plastic degrade a little bit faster. I still hate them, though.

I always snip the rings of my drink holders. However, as others have said, proper disposal beats tossing trash into nature any day.

    Good Sunday Morning, Crew.

Unfortunately turtles don’t communicate with each other – otherwise one turtle could easily chew thru the plastic ring that is stuck on another turtle. I don’t think mankind has to fear a vast turtle uprising any time soon.

Hi All, I ran a search and found the following . Based in Atlanta, Georgia, it’s a growing alternative to plastic rings. It’s a good (and easy) read.

Nice, but it would it kill Chip to draw a cartoon that sticks up for people with autism?
