    An interesting fact about fedoras… The fedora derives its name from Princess Fédora Romanov, the main character in the 1890s play Fédora, played by Sarah Bernhardt, and who wore a center-creased, soft brimmed hat. The fedora was fashionable for women, but became popular among men after Queen Elizabeth’s uncle, Prince (later King) Edward VIII started wearing one.
