Reminds me of Scrooge McDuck. At least the President’s wearing a suit — I have doubts about the others already in. Oliphant’s plutocrats always seem to have cigars.
I believe Eryx has met with a Uclick snafu. Eryx,if you are reading this, simply call Uclick and they restart your comments . I was off the site for a few weeks with no explanation. I called them and they had no idea why I wasn’t able to post . No one had complained by their records. A phone call corrected the sight hiccup. I reviewed my posts and didn’t find anything heinous. Just the usual back and forth. Eryx certainly was no Lamda!
I’ve tried to get my original profile back but it seems to be masked with the new sign on name. Yes fennec, I had back tracked to the profile but it wouldn’t let me comment.
Obama backers will stand by him even as he destroys our Country because he makes them feel important and smart. All he has changed is his own principles to get what he wants and destroy the Country in so doing.
Unfortunately, Obama did call this external influence a “Threat to our democracy” and I am inclined to agree. But until the Citizens United decision is either reversed, or political financing is reformed, I really can’t see this going any other way.
This is the closest I can come up with to the $2 Billion claim:http://digitaljournal.com/article/305354“Obama’s re-election campaign expected to raise $1 billion”

It always has been about the money. Just now figuring that out? The best way to find out what the politicians will do next is to follow the money.

Ah, here we go. The right wing making assertions and then offering some lame excuse when asked to support them.

I heard on NPR from Obama’s campaign that they can’t afford to “unilaterally disarm” (I’m paraphrasing here) and had to start using a SuperPac.
