It was a load of garbage 18 years ago, and it’s a load of garbage now.
How is it that the conservatives can blame Hillary for her husband’s misbehavior? She, like every conservative Christian would demand, stayed with her husband and protected her family. They’re going to hold that against her? Bullspittle.
Wow, those right wing talking points get out FAST!
The word “ruthless” is the important one, now on the tip of every conservative tongue.
But, as I noted below, how is this a problem with Hillary? She stayed with Bill, kept the family together instead of breaking it up and getting a divorce. Isn’t that what conservatives say scorned women should do?
And, are you suggesting Hillary shouldn’t have badmouthed the woman who slept with her husband? If she were so ruthless, why did Monica get a book deal and still have the ability to find a job? Seems to me a ruthless politician would have completely ruined Lewinsky.
Cartoons such as this one are why I continue to read and enjoy Oliphant after all these years..Has anyone ever brought up the name Oliphant in relation to “The Song of Roland”? In this case, Oliphant has sounded long and often against the infidels of political and social nonsense.
Thanks. I don’t typically like conservative pundits, because they are often predictable and repetitive. I read them anyway: I like to get more than one viewpoint, and you can learn something from everyone if you look hard enough.
That said, Ms. Parker is a refreshing change. Although conservative, she is thoughtful, empathetic, able to sift wheat from chaff, and is unafraid to take a position that is not 100% in phase with Cal Thomas, Jonah Goldberg, Charles Krauthammer, Bill Kristol, and others who write regular columns. She makes clear and understandable points, and is often right on in her observations. Thanks for the reference to this article; I recommend it as well.
Just interesting that we’re supposed to forget all the damaging things “w” did, as of a year or two before he even left office, but anything the Clinton male member did, or had did, is fodder all over again? Considering we’re still at war in Afghanistan, it’s truly remarkable selective memory can be, or how all the blame transfers to Obama. (But he’s getting us out, so that’s wrong too, of course!!)
Yes, this will kill her chances, just like Gennifer Flowers helped Bush Senior defeat Clinton when she came forward during the 1992 campaign..Come on, man — Monica couldn’t even derail the re-election of Clinton in ’98, and that was the Clinton she was getting to third base (but not home — he was right about that) with.
WTF?! I expect better from Oliphant! I can’t believe this is getting so much traction! Oliphant isn’t usually an a$$hat, and he’s not a Republican as far as I can tell.
I know that Fox is onboard with this sort of personality politics, but I wonder about how self-righteous lefties like Jon Stewart are going to handle Hillary’s candidacy as it develops and the GOP/Fox beats the Benghazi and Monica drums until they’re even more ragged than they already.
Elizabeth Warren would solve income inequality even if she lost the White House, because the 1%ers would go broke trying to keep her from winning. She is totally for the middle class, and I don’t think the 99%ers are stupid enough to vote against her no matter how much advertising the Kochs buy to discredit her. In fact, there will be a point where the realization dawns that saying something thousands of times doesn’t make it true. In fact, if you have to say something thousands of times, that in itself should make it questionable.
This was the guy that left W with a huge surplus that he turned into a deficit giving his “have mores” tax breaks and pursuing a deficit financed war against non existant weapons of mass destruction.

I don’t think Hilary sleeps in the same house as Bill. If she were elected, would Bill be banned from sleeping at the WH?
