Schroeder sits in front of the bust of Beethoven.<BR><BR> Patty and Charlie Brown stand in the doorway watching him. Charlie Brown says, "Poor Schroeder....he's heartbroken."<BR><BR> He sits in a chair across from Patty and says, "It's all my fault, too...I never should have told him...."<BR><BR> He stands, spreads his hands, and concludes, "But can you imagine? He never knew that Beethoven is dead!"<BR><BR>
Just by using three words Charlie Brown successfully shattered all off Schroeder’s hopes and dreams. He will never meet his idol.
