We will keep getting new viruses even if we get this one knocked out eventually. That’s not negativity; that’s reality.

Norway has now removed all restrictions and moved on to a “live with covid” stance. Sooner or later, the rest of the world must follow.

Instead of a swear jar, I started a negativity jar. Every time I think negative thoughts, I throw money in.

It’s half empty.

Rat’s negativity bucket is always full.

Somehow Rat will cop a “self defence” plea and get off with a warning.

I wonder that too.I got Covid despite being vaccinated. I got the J&J back in March. Mild infection, but inconvenient.I now feel unprotected. Who knows when a booster shot will be approved for J&J?!

If Bob doesn’t survive the fall, one more COVID death.

I was in a Zoom meeting back in the spring, and when I said I thought we’d still be wearing masks in the fall everyone said I was a Negative Nancy and there was no way. Well, “Way.” I’ve never been sorrier to have been right.

This strip illustrates part of societies problem at the moment, people are fed up with “the new normal”, particularly with the inability of officials to say the same thing three times in a row. The story keeps changing all the time but it always in in more govt control and penalties. Last year’s heroes are this year’s convicts.

Although widely said it was not like the flu, it is acting just like the flu. It keep coming back as a different mutation. Some years they get (scientific guess) the formula for the flu shots on target and some years they miss.

In the first year of Covid, the US experienced about 450,000 deaths and everybody hollered. But we continue to experience 480,000 deaths due to tobacco year in and year out and nobody cares. Hey, they put a tiny little warning on the tobacco products, what more do you want? Hhmm, ban tobacco? Wait, that involves money to politicians.

We need to get back to work and restore our country. Take our jobs back from overseas. We will not survive on govt welfare of Free everything.

There will be more.

The pandemic will end but the government will keep stoking people’s fears by making them think that it isn’t over.

Of course covid will always be with us, just like the 1918 Spanish Flu is still here in its latest mutation: H1N1.

Well, I hate to tell you this, Rat, but the Black Death still exists centuries after it decimated the population of Europe. I’m guessing Covid will too, but hopefully it won’t spread by…rats like the Black Death did.

Hint: Colds and flu are corona viruses. They both mutate constantly. Most people never get the same cold twice.

I had to figuratively do that with one of my friends. During the early days of the pandemic and through the darkest days of winter, my friend would post things on Facebook about how it takes 12-15 years to develop a vaccine and that everybody who made the poor career decision to work in the hospitality or entertainment industries needed to buckle down and learn a “real” trade because we were going to be locked down for a decade or more. I ended up blocking his posts from appearing in my feed because – as with Rat – he had filled up my negativity bucket and I couldn’t take another drop.
