Is Goat going to tell people in Ukraine that happiness is a choice?

Goat is wrong, of course; only the extremely simpleminded can “choose” to be happy. They’re usually the ones who make unhappy people feel even worse by saying stupid things like, “Oh, why don’t you just be happy?”

Don’t worry, Be happy.;

I’m making a choice to be filthy rich. That would make me happy . . . Ummmmmmm . . .It’s not working.

Rat’s problem is that it’s never RAT’S problem… so he cannot possibly figure out how to solve it.

My choice is to be happy, my brother’s is to be on the ten most wanted list.

I’m with Rat on this one.

Well Rat, we could begin with Congress. They promised us happiness and security. Instead, they have focused on their own happiness, and financial and job security.

Being depressed but then being told to just choose to be happy comes off as patronising and insulting.

YOUR happiness is YOUR choice.

I’m making a choice to find someone special and that would make me happy. But alas, the woman of my dreams doesn’t exist. Another thing that would make me happy is to become the black Jim Henson, but so far, it ain’t happening.

The Declaration of Independence says that we should be guaranteed the pursuit of happiness. That doesn’t mean we will be able to catch it. You really can’t make someone else happy if they don’t want to be. From the looks of things, there are those who like being unhappy and making those around the same.

In order to be happy tomorrow, you must first learn to be happy today. And if you are truly happy with yourself, you would not need anyone else’s acceptance but your own.

I think I would be happier if I could kick some people’s rears.
