Now even the comics are going Spanish. I’m sure this will probably outrage some, but I for one am tired of English being slowly supplanted as the common language of the US. And yes, I am well aware the US does not have an official language.
I feel like I’m on the Dilbert in Spanish page. (It intrigues me that uses the latest Dilberts as the English version’s latest are apparently not authorized on Go-Comics.)
There’s an old Spanish expression, which I’ll politely but broadly translate, " The only way a woman or hen will stay home is if their leg is broken! "
Stephan, you need not be coy about if you may or may not have partaken of a particular substance. I think your readership has generally assumed you’ve been doing so all along.
I hope Stephan is not doing this. Alcohol and drugs don’t improve creativity, nor do they improve productivity. I’ve seen so many writers destroy their careers doing something this dumb.
Anyone else need a translation? Three years of Spanish in high school, but that was over twenty years ago and I barely remember much of what I learned.
I couldn’t have been the only person who turned to the Spanish version to see what it looked like, but the latest strip is from January 31st. I have to wait six months to see how this will play in the Spanish version?
In the meantime, people can cut out this strip from their newspaper to use as rolling papers.
