I hate to see what what Pig does when he goes to bed with a good book.
Well, he can’t get any knowledge into his head; maybe this way will work.
the seat of knowledge…
That’s a novel idea, Pig.
How do you know it’s a good book if you’re not reading it?
So easy to love Pig.
Think of it as Schrodinger’s book . It’s both the best and worst you’ve read as long as you don’t read it. Coincidentally, I’ve bought tickets for Schrodinger’s Lottery. As long as you don’t scratch the ticket or check the numbers…
My brother throws books at me.
But Goat, the book has been red cover to cover.
Pig was being “paged”!
I like how Stephan makes it look like they each have a second pair of eyes in their snouts.
Looks like the apostrophe in the last panel was an afterthought.
It’s a “Pearls Before Swine” collection? K….
Just read it, already.
In name only does pig go through the motions…OY!
Take Goat’s advice, Pig, and read the book. It might be better than you think.
Can Pig read?
Right now, Pig is my hero.
Introduce Pig to audio books.
Folks, teach your young children to read and write. Sadly, I’ve paid witness to many a young generation who can’t do neither or their ability to use proper grammar or even spelling is atrocious. In the 8th grade, I was tested and scored a college level reading and writing comprehension, of which I’m quite proud to have. Okay, now I’ll get down off my soapbox. That’s your PSA for today…
How have I never noticed? Why does only Pig have a navel?!
Looks like Pig got Goat’s goat.
That’s about all I can do anymore, sit down with a good book, read one paragraph out like a light.
A red blooded male would read the Penthouse Forum….
Pig’s have no soul, why would he want to read The Good Book…
Garbage in garbage out :( …
Isn’t it obvious? He sits down with a good (thick) book because he’s so short.
Pig’s way of “interaction” with a book is much less taxing on both (non-)reader and book! Very Zen….
Leave me alone, I just sat down
It’s a good book because it’s not slapping Pig silly.
Well, there is no difference between treating a book this way and treating a person this way (which most people do). He chose a book by it’s cover and says it’s good – he doesn’t care to know the content, it’s good enough to sit next to and call it “sitting with”.
