What a cheesy pyramid.

Just yesterday I went to the Cardiologist. Since we last met, I have lost 15 kg. She has promoted me from “obese” to “overweight”.

At least his pyramid doesn’t contain ham, bacon, and pork.

Gouda on top? Nah, that’s for parmesan.

The big problem is when he cuts the cheese!

Yeah, Pig, what’s with you? You also forgot Havarti.

Then, there’s also:Blue Cheese, Camembert, Chèvre, Colby, Cotija, Cottage Cheese, Cream Cheese, Emmental, Fontina, Gorgonzola, Gruyère, Jarlsberg, Limburger, Manchego, Mascarpone, Monterey Jack, Muenster, Pecorino Romano, Ricotta, Roquefort, StiltonTaleggio…and Wensleydale.

“Yes, sir?”

“Splendid! Well, I’ll have some of that then, please.”

“Oh, sorry, sir. I thought you were referring to me: Mr. Wensleydale.”

What? No mention of Roquefort or Stilton?Or, for those of you in Rio Linda, Velveeta, and Cheez-whiz.

Get rid of that Brie. It’s just wallpaper paste. Put Double Gloucester, or Red Leicester in that place.

Replace the fetid with swiss, and it’s good, Pig.

Now for a guest appearance by Wallace and Gromit.

There’s lots of other cheese products for Pig——Cream cheese, cottage cheese, cheesecake, Mac and cheese, Cheetos, Cheese fries, pizza, cheebuger!, cheeburger! Hey, and who moved my cheese?

Hulloo!——Maybe the Crocs would like a black and white striped cheese!

Swiss was left out due to being full of holes!

All these cheesy comments!

He also left out chocolate and ice cream.

This comic is getting too cheesy.

I would put it in place of Feta. I don’t like Feta

Stropshire Blue is the Prince of cheeses. Available in the finer cheese shops, it’s like a strong cheddar with blue cheese veins running through it.

This diet can help Pig look good – having a variety of ways to “smile” when he get his picture taken.

No worse than the actual food pyramid.

The family I married into: peanut butter is at the top of the pyramid.

You also left out “cake” (as in cheesecake).

I think I would have left off the Feta.

I’m trying to cut back on pork products, with the exception of it being on pizza.

I would scrap the brie and feta, and put in Gruyère and Jarlsberg, at least. Although someone might put in a word for Wensleydale and Venezuelan beaver cheese.

Pig had the good sense not to include Pasteurized Processed Cheese Food.

Put the swiss in with the mozzarella it might make it taste like something instead of being so bland.

I made a nice lunch yesterday from leftover cheese fondue and baguette. It held me over until dinner.

Looks good to me, but it does need Swiss—-near the top of the pyramid.

I have heard rumors that the actual Food Pyramid is nothing more but a hoax.

I can’t believe that Pig include Pecorino Romano.

my four basic food groups are canned, frozen, freeze-dried and carry out.

Tried to think of a cheese food pyramid joke but failed.

But, realistically, a version of the food pyramid could be the food chain pyramid. Plants at the bottom, vegetarians above, peaked by the predators. It doesn’t work as a food pyramid because few preds get eaten and it’s (shrug) obvious and thereby irrelevant. Sorry. Tired morning brain.

Asiago instead of brie, Jarlsburg instead of feta. And where does cheesecake fit in?

I was planning on mentioning Swiss before I saw the last panel!

Replace Gouda with Muenster, Brie with Montery Jack, and VILE Feta with Rocotta and we good.;)

Pig also left off Jarlsberg (my fav cheese), Manchego, Ibérico, etc.

The pyramid should be 50% sharp cheddar and the Parmesan should only be the topping.

Swiss is so dry it has NO food value.

Swiss would go in the Parmesan side, personally.

The food pyramid encouraged people to eat endless quantities of grains and carbs. It ushered in the present era of obesity and diabetes.

I’d replace the feta with provalone. I’d also swap places with parmesan and brie.

No Manchego?

My colon squeezed shut just looking at that pyramid.

Left off a ton of cheese. Including cave cheese.

Except for the feta (very salted), everything’s good!! Do not forget the baguette (traditional French bread), some beverages, a basket, and a cool, warm and beautiful place to eat all these excellent products… :)

Pig’s version is a darned sight better than that terrible, fake, unhealthful food pyramid they foisted upon a generation of American school children.

Reminds me of Monterey Jack, the character in Disney’s “Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers.”

Cheese Whiz, guys! The pyramid of cheeses is practically unlimited; there are so many varieties!
