Since Phoebe is dressed like Kiki, I really wish Marigold had dressed as Jiji.

It’s only fair, then, that Phoebe should get half of the compliments.

I choose candy because you can’t eat praise.

Praise is nice, but I agree with Phoebe. Candy!!

And for binging, going to be Little Witch Academia and The Owl House. The former was briefly referenced in latter’s episode “Thanks to Them”, but yeah I am one of those who found TOH via comparisons to LWA back in 2020.

Marigold admits to being “people”? How very un-unicorn.

Praise or food? Why do I feel like that choice could lead to an eating disorder?

Although the movie was released in the USA in 1997, the dubbing and such was completed in 1993. A very young Kirsten Dunst voiced Kiki. Kiki has been her nickname ever since. I still have a bootlegged copy I bought at a store in San Jose, CA’s Japantown in 1990 along with an English script as my Japanese was not that good then. In the original the voice actress for Kiki also does Ursula (the artist). Yes, I like Studio Ghibli works very much as you can tell from my screen name here. I am a Nausicaan. And not a Nausicaan as shown in Star Trek, but a follower of Nausicaa as depicted in the manga and anime.

As for Marigold mentioning people, I didn’t think she or other unicorns didn’t wanted to be thought about as people.

I got to see the premiere of the Disney dub of Kiki’s Delivery Service, married to a Japanese text version on 35 millimeter. Less than a week later, Phil Hartman died, so I was in the only room of the public to see that version without reality hanging over our heads.
