Both people and characters say, “Back in my day” a lot. Seth Meyers and Cranky Kong, for example.

Back in my day, we didn’t think this day would ever come.

Considering the birth rate is more than one person a day, I seriously doubt we’re ever going to have enough to go around.

Back in her day, humans didn’t bother unicorns with these things.

Every day is THE day, Phoebe!

I always say, “Back in the days of wooden ships and iron men”!

Back in her parents day, a year was 365 days long, not say a decade.XD

Back in my day, Unicorns ate roses, and occasional croquet hoops. not grass.

Looks like Marigold is going to “scarf” down something on the ground.

Yes, Phoebe, these are the times you’ll be talking about when you get older.

A hundred years from now, there will be somebody thinking “Wow, I wonder what it was really like to live all the way back in 2023?” just like we wonder what it was like to live in the past.

And here we are.

Grass? I thought unicorns ate moonbeams, magical sprinkles, or something like that..

You can start using “back in my day” when Hollywood does a live action reboot/ remake/ fakemake of a cartoon or anime you really liked as a kid. So… you’re not far off.

Marigold eating grass?! I’d think she’d think it wasn’t worth for her to eat!

Back in my day, if we wanted to play video games, we had to walk to the arcade! Uphill, in the snow! Both ways!

People have a hard time living in the present. Old people miss the old days and wish they could return. Kids want to grow up already and miss all the childhood wonders. When will people learn to live the present?
