I don’t like to fish, I like to CATCH! I don’t have the patience for it. SO when the 8yo wants to fish we head out to the trout farm, fish are always biting and in an hours time he has dinner caught. Less than $40.00 and fun for him.

I miss fishing. I’ll have to do some next summer, if my father-in-law will lend me the gear.

When I used to fish with my bachelor buddies, mostly all we’d catch was a buzz and some rays.

I used to love fishing. Old cane pole or casting rod. Live bait or artificial lure. In a boat, on a deck or from shore. (sigh)

Earl knew that! He’s just stalling…he threw out all his equipment years ago…..sigh!

Did that with my friends kids, sort of sitting them. Cleaned the sofa cushions out found a dime. Both wanted it. I took two nickels and gave one each. They youngest got mad and gave me my nickel back. I took the other kids nickel back and gave him the dime. HaHa

All sorts and purposes of fishing.

Who thought Earl was going to actually get up and go somewhere?

Could’ve been worse; Earl could’ve fished for navel lint! ;-p

The last time I looked under the sofa cushion, I found a 1930 English penny with George V on it. They made the pennies big back then. My wife was looking through the penny jar and lost a family memento to the sofa without realizing it.

I thought he would pull out his deck of cards to play “Go Fish”.
