Spouse checks my teeth: As a saladovore, I’m particularly liable to end up with something green in my teeth. She prefers that I not mention it if hers need a little touchup, but if it’s truly gross, I tell her anyway.

With all due respect, this one really needs work…….a nice enough joke, but very clumsily executed.

Reminds me of when one of my sisters and her husband (in their early seventies) were walking and holding hands. A young lady said it was sweet. I wonder if the young lady was disappointed when my sister told it helped to keep them from falling down?
