Bosses need to feel important.
Gotta justify the cost of all those offices.
At the end of it all, everything I do work related I do it because the boss demands it.
When you take a job you agree to work to make your boss a success.
If you can’t get workers, you just have to raise salaries. That’s capitalism.
If people won’t work for you unless they can work from home, you have to arrange it where they can work from home. That’s capitalism.
Humane working conditions are a competitive advantage.
Water finds its own level. At our company, now, people stay home, when they need to stay home, but generally come to the office, where coordination and face-to-face communication is still very important.
90% of my job I could do remotely, but the 10% that needs to be done on-site needs to be done every day so I come into the office every day, and I prefer it. But I miss having other people around (other coworkers doing other jobs might come in once a month, if that), and there’s hardly any place to get lunch anymore…
Some places are converting office towers to affordable housing. Do the same job in the same place with nowhere else to go home & you’re paying rent. What part don’t the bosses like?
Gee, is Stantis indirectly (very, very, very indirectly) kind of, sort of, obliquely criticizing patriotic multinational corporations?
OMG, what could be next?? Wanting them to pay taxes????
Never thought Stantis would turn into a socialist/communist/fascist like he appears to be doing.
He needs to go back and watch Fox “news” for a couple weeks.
