Magats have NO use whatsoever for anyone like Jimmy Carter.

NONE.

They prefer Christians like Kristi Noem, Tommy Tuberville, Perjury Taylor Greene, and JD Vance.

And, of course, Their Messiah.

Funny that Stanti posts this piece in the face of the lame azz piece he dropped in the Tribune, which you can find here: facebook dot com scott.stantis . Here you can read the comments of a friend: “The only clown injecting politics into the ongoing disaster is Donald Trump. A more forthright cartoon would depict him in his MAGA hat.”……………….Stanti, I you’re going to pine for decency, you have to be able to recognize the REAL problems……….BTW, GARBAGE DMZ podcast, where Stanti does not challenge Rall’s BS, and crapps out a plethora of whataboutisms and strawmen. I think the man is suffering from Winter depression.

The conservatives hated Jimmy Carter BECAUSE he was a good man, and acted like a REAL Christian. They prefer an immoral, indecent person that gives them permission to be immoral indecent people while PRETENDING to be Christians.

Somehow I can’t believe Stantis would support a candidate like Jimmy Carter if he were running today.

Seven days until the wrecking ball drops and people think the devistation in California is massive.

Next time you fly, thank Carter for deregulating the airlines. Or have a local beer. Or revel in our #1 status in production of natural gas.

Much like Biden, Carter was a moderate, ticking off folks on both sides while in office.

Joe Biden isn’t “flashy”,and the voters seem to think that’s some sort of crime.

Like carter, the world will have to play catch-up on him.

Truman was only at 30% approval rate when he left office(somebody didn’t like how he handled a steel strike)

Clearly, Scott HAS stepped on Eric.

As someone pointed out yesterday (I think it was BD), Eric’s cartoon about Carter specifically (and his cartoons in general) are total pieces of work.

It’s just too bad that there is that standard two week delay for daily strips – we could have used this one a couple weeks ago.

The thing with Carter is that he kept trying his whole life. There were a lot of successes, and a fair amount of failures. But he kept trying to be as useful a person as he could be.

Would Scott have supported him against Reagan? Surely not. But that doesn’t mean we can’t recognize character.

They’re out there. We just gotta keep supporting them.

He had a wife, I hear.

I’m disappointed in all the tribute cartoons showing him getting to heaven with her not in evidence.

Carter valued his character more than the color of his white skin. The MAGA folks will never understand that.

Building houses is what he should have done instead of being one of the worst presidents in US history. Inflation, unemployment, the hostage crisis, his anti-semitism, his policy of changing sides whenever it suited him, ect, ect.

President Carter should have been building houses instead of having a four year in Washington that was one disaster after another.
