Alice is quite the wise woman! Too bad she can’t take Lacey’s place in Congress.

Why do you think Costco chicken containers are un-recyclable? It is the same plastic used in millions of water bottle that are recyclable every day.

Not so fast Lynn. Despite your desire to always put John down this is not the same. Liz will be graded on what is supposed to be her own work but will be turning in yours. IOW, she will be cheating. OTOH, you entered into a marriage with an agreed upon division of labor – John will support you and the family and you will support the domicile. What if John adhered to your attitude and said your should fill your own cavities?

While on the surface it may appear that Calvin is trying to gross Susie out in reality this is just a delaying tactic as Calvin is imagining how gross the worms would be and how to avoid having to eat them.

As @GabryelFrost said 2 days ago, poor does not mean stupid. Alice is not only brilliant but is a genius for illustrating her point. Joanie should be thankful she is not opposing Alice in court!

Whether an overperforming account continues into the next years is irrelevant. They all are just craps shoots. The so-called “analysts” with their charts and “fundamentals” are blowing smoke you know where. The most important driver of stock prices are public perception and that is as fickle as the latest fad. In essence, the stock buying public are sheep following the latest whim.

Not really. A seller making an unsolicited offer can propose terms. If the offer is accepted then you can say that the seller set the terms. However, usually those terms are rejected and buyer and seller enter into negotiations where neither one “sets the terms”.

Calvin is not desperate for money but he is desperate to scam Susie. Failing that, since Susie is calling his bluff, he will be desperate to save his face/ego.

As I said yesterday, Susie knows Calvin all too well and is just playing him like a puppet!

Calvin has met much more than his match. Susie knows Calvin all too well and is just toying with him while laughing inside.

You don’t speak for all men or even most. Nothing wrong in suggesting that someone – male or female – smile. Especially a customer facing employee.

How about Wonder Woman? Brenda Starr? Mary Worth?
