LOL. It sure is! They probably use it to move around equipment or full storage bins, like that ball container.

How come? Maybe we can help. The girl in the pink shirt with straight hair is Dana. She is a bully who is getting a redemption arc. She is also in constant competition with Heart since they are both theater kids and competing for roles, but recently they have graduated from arch enemies to friendly acquaintances, mostly because Dana stopped being a horrible brat. In panel three Charlotte (skull shirt with her hair in a bun) is remembering an incident from before she and Heart were friends. Dana warned Heart away from Charlotte. Heart was temporarily swayed, but in the end decided that she was going to hang around the people she likes. That was the start of Charlotte’s friendship with the gang and the start of the enmity between Dana and Heart. It seems that Charlotte did not realize that Heart and Dana have become more friendly again and is justifiably miffed by suddenly being confronted by her (former?) bully in a situation where she had her guard down. If you have any more questions, ask!

Well, no, Kirbo, the world—as in, the whole planet—will indeed not burn. But it doesn’t have to burn, Kirbo, to make life pretty uncomfortable for all of us. Droughts and forest fires; torrential rains and floods; destructive storms, failure of the gulf stream, mass extinction of life in the ocean and on land and so on. But I have a question, even if you don’t believe all of this, even if we are all cray-cray and everything is fine—what do you have against implementing practices that will lower pollution and, if nothing else, help us get cleaner air and water in the long run, that will get us away from being dependent on resources like oil that will run out eventually and towards energy sources that won’t (like the sun and wind). What is wrong with not dumping poison into the ground and water like the industry has been doing for decades. What is wrong with being more mindful of the impact we are having on the environment, reducing plastic, eating less meat and so on?

Because then they would be waiting in the park three blocks that way instead of bugging him at work.

He passed away on July 27th 2016, so about four years later. We’re talking about when the strip ended in 2012.

How strange! The source I looked it up on must have gotten it wrong. Thanks for the correction!

The comics are going to continue like this until mid August. Then, sadly, the strip will stop and probably go into reruns again (hopefully). Richard ran the last strip of Cul de Sac on August 17th, 2012 before sadly being forced to retire since his health didn’t allow him to keep working. The strip is almost running parallel to the original dates, this one originally ran on March 26th 2012.

Like an old friend they can’t quite place who then traumatically dies.

Also, I love Georgia’s whimsical art, but the more realistically drawn Gandalf with no pupils looks drunk, high or possessed, I’m not sure what :P

This is actually quite out of character. Yes, Heart is lazy and loves chilling in front of the TV or in bed, eating chips. BUT she has always followed through when it comes to her ambition of being an actress. She has had regular dance practice for years without complaints.

Also, I’m pretty sure Heart used Addy’s expensive make-up without asking and put it on super thick. I bet nowadays Heart has her own and it looks like she is showing some restraint.
