    Many fact checkers do check facts. And in most cases, they aren’t censoring in the sense that they forbid a questionable claim, just asserting that the claim is not true.

    Today, the process is not so much repeating the same lie over and over, as to emit so many lies that people (eg fact checkers) cannot keep up. The desired result is to bring into question the very concept of objective truth.

    Unfortunately, the likes of Gingrich call such matters as crime or employment data as “theories.” I’m not kidding, I’ve heard Newt do just that.

    Would discouraging Jonah be the purpose of asking to be paid? That might make sense. But more money is not Brad and Toni’s need; they both have semi-professional jobs. The problem is that too much time is being asked of them.
