Every company needs a neigh-sayer, amiright?

That had me confused until I realized it is not one item, but three items. The box with what appears to be a bottle of ink, the corner of the desk pad and what is either a photo frame or perhaps business card holder

My sister was a long distance operator in the mid-60s. And telephones were black…

Interesting items on the desk. For many years I had a desk pad like that one, except I am guessing that the corners are made of leather instead of plastic. I was puzzled by one item until I realized I was actually looking at three things. The box with what appears to be a bottle of ink, the corner of the desk pad and what is either a photo frame or perhaps business card holder. Interesting that the “desk” surface is glass.

As for her remark, it would have shocked a few people in 1924… 8^)

As I said, I did see the tears (notches) in his ears. However, there are the downward pointing arrows, and the other white shape. Neither of those seem consistent with your view. I see both, by the way, so spare me your sneers.

Brian, what is with the arrows coming out of the elephant’s ears? I did consider that they might represent tears in the ears, but that still did not seem right.
