    Has anyone else ever heard of “Pick Basic”? It’s now called Unix or Unidata. My husband is very proficient in programming for that system and the end results are really a lot better than most other systems.

    We used QuickBooks in my last job before retirement. It has specialized versions for several different businesses and we used the “Contractor” one. It worked well for a small business.

    Actually using cursive is faster than block printing because you aren’t constantly lifting your pen from the paper for each letter.

    In the early 80’s my husband took a Fortran game program and converted it to what was then called “Pick Basic”. By doing that, he not only learned Fortran very well, but was able to add more adventures to the game. (Anyone remember “Colossal Cave”?)
