I see a change in pronouns, but not in adjectives. Am I missing something?

Thanks! I wonder why the scaling is so bad on some comics!

They are! I wouldn’t call the color “amber”, though. More like mahogany…a deep reddish-brown.

Everybody’s “busy” schedule was that they’ve planned a whole day of activites Heart will love! Kat took her to get her hair done, Charlotte is providing a make-up session, etc.

It CAN work, though. I’m also an only child, and played board games by myself a lot. Not something like checkers, but ones with dice or spinners to determine the move. Sometimes I won, sometimes my panda won, sometimes my Ginny doll won.

Every Sunday, I click on the comic, then set my browser to 150% in order to read it!

More like 1896, when standardized measurements were popularized by Fannie Farmer in her “Boston Cooking-School Cookbook”, which was originally sold with cups and spoons.

Wait….wasn’t she just saying she forgot to “plan Nate’s summer”?? Does she think she’ll get him into camps NOW??

    Yeah, no.

When I was a kid, my dad bought me a book called “Where did you go? Out. What did you do? Nothing.” It was great! How to play multiple games with marbles, stickball, mumbley-peg (yes, games with knives!). Lots I could do on my own, or with other kids.
