Agree their time-line is fluid. But “eced” said they were married 5 years, and I replied they were married after Luann turned 18. Since Luann is only 19 (maybe 20 this Sept.), they have been married less than 2 years.

Too many readers tend to think in terms of our time, not strip time where 5, 6, 7 years of our time equates to about 1 year of their time. Just like her friends going to Moony U. are in their 5th semester and should be Juniors, but who knows. Luann is still at the local CC, which could be a 4 year school, but again, who knows what year she is in.

More like a recurring role. (◠‿◠)

I could see the strip being renamed in the future to “Luann featuring Shannon”. With some of the cast being “Juniors” by now, they will graduate in another 5-10 years (our time) and go their separate ways. So a strip with a 6 year-old, being easier to write, would provide at least another 80 or so years of employment for current and future generations of Evans. (◠‿◠)

They have only been married less than a couple of years. Keep in mind, the strip is not real (our) time. Luann is 19 and turned 18 Sept. 2014. She is currently 19. Brad and Toni married Dec. 2016, so they have been married less than 2 years.

Actually, I think Brad loves her more. Brad loves kids and he and TJ always seem to find things to do with Shannon.

A lot of new story possibilities there.

Over at Arcamax, Dan G posited that Shannon is going to become a permanent member of the cast. I think he may be right. It will be easier to write story arcs involving a 6 year old growing up and still involve Luann and clan.

Yep and he is also underage at this time, bigger problems coming.

I think hers might have slipped by the “URL” checking process since it wasn’t a “dot com” URL. Also, the “http(s)” part was also left off, just like my address just above her comment where I capitalized the “com”. Some times a space before or after one (or more) of the dots works too.
