   On October 1, 1957 the first U.S. paper currency with the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST” entered circulation. i have a silver certicate (dollar) from 1957. have no idea where i got it from.

   that’s something to consider, but the last few winters have had only one or two days of really cold weather. then i generally go out with a pot of boiling water. i am contemplating getting another heater for another bird bath, tho. the deer usually drink them dry when it is cold.
