For help on how to follow a comic title,
I just saw an article in The New Republic where former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko completely destroyed one of the republicans’ main arguments of the Biden Corruption scandal, that Poroshenko fired prosecutor Viktor Shokin after Biden pressured him. (on Fox “News” no less) “First of all, this is a completely crazy person. Second, there’s not a word of truth” Poroshenko said of Shokin’s statements implicating Biden.
You mean the article by Andy Puzder, Trump’s failed Labor Secretary nominee? Scroll down, you’ll see Yahoo articles titled, “Corporations paid $91 billion less in taxes in 2018”, “3 myths about the Trump tax cuts”, “The hidden tax hikes in Trump’s tax cut plan”, “The Trump tax cuts are still bombing”. At least he didn’t get a chance to bomb Mexico.
With “professional” advice from her astrologer.
Yah, he ran as a Bernie Sanders republican because Bernie’s policies are widely popular. But like his non-existent healthcare “plan” it was all a lie. The only thing he accomplished was a budget busting tax cut which artificially inflated the economy until he blew it all maliciously mishandling the pandemic.
Once we got rid of the fairness doctrine and allowed unfettered media consolidation the sadistic trolls took over. Murdoch, Limbaugh, Carlson, and now Musk.
Appeasing the fascist religious right is merely a means to an end.
It is good for the economy in the same way having $32 billion of hurricane damage (so far this year) stimulates the economy. Budget busting tax cuts and reckless, life threatening deregulation are the only decisions the GOP is interested in.
I feel the same way about the stochastic terrorists of the Freedumb Caucus and their authoritarian billionaire financiers.
Meanwhile the House Hostage Emporium is preparing to launch the mother of all shutdowns, costing American taxpayers billions with the sole purpose of damaging the US economy for political gain.
I got bored with Twitter and left within 3 months. I check in to Facebook maybe once a month. GoComics though has become a daily ritual and, except for the trolls, highly informative.
