Then the art in the panel makes no sense. The dog should have been drawn over Chuck’s empty clothes, not looming behind Org. It’s a typo. Also, that interpretation just isn’t particularly funny, not that the other way is all that much of a knee-slapper either.

“The left-wing narrative factories are misusing the term “censorship” for projection.” Evey accusation by a Right-winger is really a confession.

“I’m not aware of Christians trying to ban anything these days.” You must be living under a rock, then.

One of the dumbest TV ads that I ever saw was a Christian Television Association ad set in a “dystopian” future where marriage licenses were only for 3 years, and a “charming” young couple (“we want a marriage license!”) wanted a forever one because of Jesus. The “happy ending” of the ad was the official giving them 20 to run consecutively, when if they really believed that their marriage would last, they could have made a little ritual every 3 years of renewing it. Nothing says true faith like demanding to be locked into something in case you change your mind later.

Yes, that’s what the teacher had to say to make the “joke” work, but one has to add a T as well as an A to ‘affection’ to make it ‘affectation’.

Decades old typo (that I never noticed on my own) – the last panel should say Org, not Chuck
