    Good evening, Vagabonds.

Well I seemed to have overdone things a wee bit on Wednesday because I was totally out of it yesterday. Sore, foggy headed and very slow at everything. So happy to get back to my normal today. Some of it may be the heat and humidity. It was already 75 by 7 am and our high today was 95. Our current humidity reading is at 48%. I’m exhausted.

My sister and I are in the process of selling our parents home. She is doing all the work as the house is in Ohio and I am over 600 miles away in Missouri. The gentleman who is buying is doing a great job of redecorating the inside of the house. However, he is not interested in the various plants around the home and told my sister to help herself to any of the plants she wanted. So today I received three boxes full of plants. She sent me some of my mother’s hosta, peony’s that originally came from my grandparent farm, purple sedum and Sultan’s Crown lilys. Tomorrow I begin planting.

Today, I went to lunch with a friend and it was a quick afternoon. Her MIL passed away yesterday (she was in her 90’s). So she and her husband will be headed for North Carolina by Monday. There is always so much to do before an unplanned trip.

May you all enjoy a peace filled evening.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

Busy day! Made my weekly trip to Walmart first thing this morning. Food prices keep going up. The only bright spot is that the price of eggs has dropped almost .90. I did manage to get everything put away, get my laundry done and fix dinner for the family. After they left I sat down to watch the news, but took an unexpected nap instead. To much for one day.

Weather wise, the day started out at 61 and warmed up to 90. Overall it was not an unpleasant day.

    Everyone have a peaceful evening.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

Not much happening the last couple of days. My day started at 61 degrees and it is now 81. Much better than last week when the highs were in the upper 90’s. Other than the heat, it is a very quiet day with me puttering around doing household chores.

Everyone have a very blessed day.

I have watched the first episode of Dark Winds and have a second one waiting on my DVR. Think I missed the second episode and am going to try to get caught up later this week.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

Our day started out on the warm side, 80 degrees before 9:30 this morning. Our high was 99 with a heat index of 107. The humidity is at 55%. I am looking forward to tonight’s projected rain which should drop us back into the 80’s.

The family came over for dinner this afternoon. We grilled Italian sausages with grilled onions and peppers and topped with warm marinara sauce, the rest of the meal was simple, chips and cold drinks.

My husband was not happy when I initially bought my flat top, but so far he has only let me cook on it once. LOL.

Well that is pretty much my whole day. May you all enjoy a peaceful evening.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

The day started out at a cool 70 and rose to a hot 93. And muggy. We might get some rain in the next couple of days.

I had lunch with a friend today, we went to our favorite Korean restaurant. We were having such a good time that we lost all track of time and we were there for almost 4 hours.

    Everyone have a blessed evening.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

It has been a quiet day here. Just puttering around the house and getting a little housework done.

The day started at 68 and our current is 90, which is also today’s high. Sunny with a slight breeze and no rain in sight.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

Sorry, I kind of checked out the last couple of weeks. We went from rain and temperatures in the upper 70’s to dry and the upper 90’s. And I still have a lot of yardwork to do, but need cooler weather. It looks like we may have some over the next few days.

Today started at 63 and our high is 88. However Wednesday is shop at Walmart, do laundry and catch-up on things day. I will try outside tomorrow morning.

Sidney and I enjoyed a quiet weekend celebrating my 70th birthday on Saturday and Father’s Day on Sunday. Our daughters are planning on taking us to see Jurassic World Dominion, but we have been unable to coordinate so all six of us could go together.

My grandson finally was able to go on the school trip to Europe at the beginning of June. He had a great time, I still have not heard all about it only some of it.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

Both are on my daily prayer list. Being a caregiver can be difficult, even when you are in good health.
