Sorry, Cathy, but your co-worker is right. The body does tend to get bored with the same exercise routine all the time. The only way to fix that is to change things up every so often so that your body doesn’t know what’s coming next. Trust me, it works!
Because their kids couldn’t stop being annoying for five minutes?
Hold that thought… .
That’s really irrelevant, and you know it. There have been girls as young as ten who got pregnant as a result of incest, yet in Texas, for example, they’d be forced to carry to term a pregnancy that their bodies aren’t yet sufficiently developed to handle. So go pound sand!
Brett Kavanagh, is that you?
That’s my point. Being an ally does NOT mean being their “savior” or just assuming that they may find something offensive or inappropriate. It means letting THEM take the lead in deciding what is and isn’t appropriate behavior and taking one’s cues from THEM as to how react or respond to it.
You know, it took me 30 years to get the punchline to this strip — and I LIKE Neil Sedaka!
There’s nothing wrong with using “see” around blind people. NOT speaking to them same the way one would speak to a sighted person is what is REALLY insulting to them!
Because incest usually involves sex between an adult relative and a minor relative. Minors by law cannot consent to sexual acts, so the element of choice doesn’t exist for them. Do you honestly expect a six-year-old child to fight off a parent, uncle, or older brother?
Did you ever hear the song “No Charge”? THAT’S why.
