They can claim all they want. That warrant had to be cleared by multiple officials and a judge. Those lawyers have a copy of it. If it was a dodgy warrant, they could release it themselves, but they haven’t.

Hart seems to still be working with Weir. Bill Kreutzmann recently dropped out for temporary health reasons. Phil Lesh has his own band, which also had to hit pause for health reasons.

Once saw a sticker on the back of a car: Instead of 13.1 (half marathon), it read 14.3, and then in fine print said “I got lost”.

While crime rates have risen a bit in the last three years, they are still significantly lower than they were through the early ’90s. There are some fascinating studies out there about crime rates and the *perception of crime rates, and the often large differences between them.

A few years ago, for a friend’s 50th, I paid a local company (here in AZ) who sneaks in and sticks them in the yard. Then they came back late in the afternoon and took them away again. Tried to do the same for a friend who lives in Florida, and the only company near him, doesn’t use real lawn flamingos, but has cartoony-looking 2-d painted plywood faux-mingos. In Florida. Really. Decided it wasn’t worth it…

That pipeline wouldn’t even be open yet, if it hadn’t been cancelled. It also would not have affected US gas prices – it would have carried Canadian shale oil to gulf ports to be shipped overseas. It’s not the right type of crude to refine gasoline out of.

On the other hand, Trump is the one who convinced OPEC to cut production because he said that gas prices were too low (thanks to pandemic-reduced demand).

Just don’t see how that makes gas prices Biden’s fault.
