Someone just got “edumacated”
One last comment: people who live and watch over their own lives have very little time to live and watch everyone else’s.
Perhaps so… I just don’t want to be in the business of being another’s judge. To me, “real” isn’t what someone else does but what I’m able to do for someone else. BTW… that is what the disciple James called “true religion.” If I just pay attention to myself, I won’t trip over others in my attempt to downgrade who I think they are. But that’s just me…
To all of you that want to shut down churches, when you are in the volunteer line to help feed the 28,000 meals we gave away this past year, WITHOUT government aid, then you can line up and complain. But, I never see folks like you. The complainers never are. It’s just awfully too busy a task to find time to be the complainer, rather than the volunteer. I have no love for the Bakker clan. I agree that it seems they scammed their way through life. But the quiet ones, who live to give, not to grift, do not belong in your over-generalized conversation about Church or God. But then, that’s just the thoughts of a skateboarding frog. What do we know… right?
Oh, but there was one Mr. Editor. Indeed, there still is.
Great lesson of life C-man.
Yup! You’re starting to get it, Calvin, ole buddy.
Wait a minute… is the “greatest generation” now the dumbest generation, or do we now judge the whole off the one?
I just KNEW that’s how they did it (at the New York Times)… I just KNEW it!
I’d forgotten all about that!
