I remembered my Dad trying to teach me, as a five year old, on how to bowl. Standing behind me and trying to guide my arms and legs and release of the ball. I dropped it on his foot and turned around to see him jumping on one leg all over the place.

I thought we were progressing as a country when the reality of how USA treated minorities (black, mexicans, indians etc) was taught along with the achievements of our country’s historical growth. Back in the 50’s and 60’s life in the USA was “fantastic” with no social problems. The underlying current of trouble was able to come to the forefront with education on how life was for many Americans unable to share in the “fantastic” lifestyle" of the 50’s and 60’s – leading to much needed reforms. Education really is necessary to ensure that we don’t forget and repeat these mistakes again. The first signs of a totalitarian government is to control the “facts” and the Republican’s trying to control the “wokeness” in our society is dangerous.
