Actually, the Washington Monument was stopped due to the Civil War. If one gets the opportunity to walk the stairs within, the plaques are very interesting. Just before the line, walking downwards, the plaques have some annimosity as a result of the Civil War. Then, just below the line, the plaques talk about keeping the Union together.

I truely do not believe government unemployment numbers because the number does not account for those on government assistance. If the welfare numbers were thown into the unemployment we would be over 40%. Tough to really find the numbers.

When I heard Newsome’s statement about not having room… This is exactly what I said to myself… “Newsome declared CA as a sanctuary state, yet back tracks now to blame republicans. Clearly his attempt to position as a presidential candidate and a way to lay blame on others than himself.”

Reminds me during my dating years with my now-wife of 30+ years. Every Thanksgiving I ended up at three houses over the Thanksgiving weekend – family, girl friend’s and best friend. Quite a stuffing weekend.

Simple… Repubs are not moderate enough. Get rid off the subject of abortion and sex choice and let people have the FREEDOM of choice – as one example.

Interesting that they are calling TX and FL human traffickers, yet it was not the case when the administration bused and flew illegals. Need to watch the pot calling the kettle black.

Simple solution… Select a 3rd party that is neither Dem or Repub. Problem is that people vote party line, which is ignorant in my view. I read statements and make my own decision, instead of having one thrust upon me by party line.

Funny, but the south was the Democrats and the north Republicans.

Most representatives would be for this as it would add more liberals to the tally. Ever look at why CA has not split into two, the State of Jefferson movement? It is because it would most likely add another republican state and the libs would not accept that.

I have been saying this to friends and family for years. Nice to see someone else finally see it and state it. How else do representatives get richer while in office. They vote their back pockets.
