Ah, another example of the yellow press?

I see your point but question its practicality. By your reasoning it appears to me that gocomics should be obligated to carry anybody’s idea of what a comic strip is be it stick drawings by a two year old or patently offensive bromides from a demented octogenarian. Business unlike governments have a responsibility to make a profit and are not required to be moral agents. I commend your dedication to the concept of free speech but I don’t feel it is such an absolute as to imperil all forms of commerce.

The First Amendment says that the government can not infringe upon one’s right to speech, it places no such restriction on private companies such as gocomics.

I would imagine that Fred would enjoy haggis (which tastes like sausage) much more than porridge.

My girlfriend and I once got a phone call offering us a free weekend in Reno. We were dirt poor living in a basement apartment but in a fairly nice part of town. Once we got to Reno (via Greyhound) and got to the hotel they soon told us it was mandatory to attend a meeting that was in fact a hard sell time share attempt as depicted here. However they took one look at us and saw we were not the type of couple that could afford what they were selling and just showed us the door and told us to enjoy or stay in Reno.

The problem with the digital age is not that computers can now write book reports but rather that people don’t read books anymore because they are always on their phones reading scrolling headlines and watching pointless videos.
