Trump is no Hitler. He is old with significant health issues, and he lacks Hitler’s charisma, cunning, fanaticism, and energy. However, there are people with these resources who were watching what Trump was able to do with one of the two decayed American political parties and have taken notes, and I think we’ll be hearing from them in the next ten or twenty years as the country continues to decline. Upper Volta with ICBMs, or whatever it was they used to say about Russia. If I were a young adult and wanted to have some kind of life, I think I’d move to another country or at least to one of the more remote parts of this one.

You all love Trump so much. Why don’t you let him shamble back to the swamp from whence he once emerged? But no — Trumpety Trumpety Trump Trump Trump. A Trump Trump here, a Trump Trump there, everywhere a Trump Trump.

‘Aint’ is originally from ’haven’t’. Maybe from a lack of teeth, a few hundred years ago English-speakers used to drop out ‘v’. and so said ’e’en’ for ‘even’, ’e’er’ for ‘ever’, and ’o’er’ for over. (Later, poets found these metrically useful and so they became high-falutin whereas they had previously been low-falutin.) ’Haven’t’ became ’ha’ent’ then ’hain’t’ and finally ’ain’t’. ’Isn’t’ and ’aren’t’ had become something like ’in’t’ and ’an’t’ which can still be heard is some parts of England. They were attracted to ’ain’t’ and were assimilated.. I suppose the same thing happened to ’amn’t’ if it every existed. This sort of pedantry saves me from having to think about Trump. The guy next door howls and shouts all day. I think my way is better.

I was hoping we could see something not about Trump. I am seriously tired of hearing about Trump all the time. He’s just not that interesting. And he’s done.

I gave up reading the news a few years ago, when I could no longer stand the brain poison. When fables like Russiagate and Bountygate are treated as facts, you might as well be getting your news from another planet. COVID-19 has saved us from Trump, but I don’t know who or what will save us from Biden-Harris.

The President has always been completely honest about his lying. It’s one of the things that endear him to his base. Whereas WaPo, the New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, and so on…. they lie about their lying, and y’all suckers lap it up. And, face it: that is the truth.

Is that why it snaps back and gets you when you’re old?

The rightful King of America would be one of the Stuarts, or someone related somehow, as Bonnie Prince Charlie’s line went extinct in, I think, 1845.
