Doesn’t really help the little guy dealing with the inflation. You know the majority of people who worked their whole life, paid into Social Security thinking it would help them, saved a little but were never able to invest much and get ahead for a number of very legitimate reasons. In my case spending 300k putting kids through college. For those of us who cannot add to our net worth and investments due to old age we are watching our buying power sink at an alarming rate. Then the fact Social Security has 60% of the buying power it had in 2000 just really complicates matters.

I purposely wrote that so see the insults and comments as that is what the same people always respond with. Thank you for confirming my suspicions.

Well at least he is not sending us down a path of tens of millions of purchased votes and socialism we won’t realize until the government runs out of other people’s money. The revolution is coming, and it will make the one on Jan. 6 that so many people like to whine about look like an ice cream social. Do you really think a bunch of unarmed people were going to overthrow the government. There was way more threat in the looting and burning during riots. Get over it and stop and look what is happening. More and more people are getting really (can’t use that word) urinated.

Are we all forgetting the stock market plunge yesterday due to the government’s report on more than expected inflation in August. It came out about the same time Biden said prices were dropping. My exposure to everything we consume causes me to just shake my head. The markets are crazy, material for my business is insane and energy while in some cases a bit lower is still going up for electricity, gas and other items that involve energy for your home and business.

Until the current rapidly industrializing nations get on the band wagon we might as well be urinating in the wind and wondering why our feet are getting wet. Our carbon reduction is erased by their increases and it keeps getting worse. Nobody wants to talk about the elephant in the room. 7.5 billion people.

My credit card tracks and categorizes all purchases. So far this year I have spent 36.8% more on food at the grocery store for myself and my wife than the same time last year. We are not eating better.

My children and now 5 grand children read constantly. They were taught from a very young age. And yes, I am someone on the now criminalized right.
