that’s actually a type of abuse – if the kid actually gags over the food (not just being a brat) it’s awful to make them eat it!

youngest year of boomer here (not a boomer at heart though :D ) and we certainly didn’t make them anything else, but they could find something for themselves.

My policy was always to have them taste everything, just one bite was enough and then they could get something else. The next time we had the same food they had to taste again. In the end my kids would eat anything, when the youngest asked when we could have eggplant lasagna I considered my case won! (but then I don’t think I ever had to deal with a Carly…)

it’s actually possible to have an even-balanced relationship without one being in charge. I and hubby don’t quarrel (well very very rarely in our almost 35 year relationship) but then we’ve both grown up with knowing how to solve differences without having to resort to quarreling about them. Sure helps too that we’re of like mind about most things too, though :D

Bolero on the other hand! That’s repetitive for you!

it’s not repetitive except for the cello part. Otherwise a nicely built little piece. (and I teach composition).

nope, downgrade. C is lower than D (unless you’re moving it up a seventh which would make it really high for the players). ;)
