Gee, there musta been hundreds of thousands of Cherokee Princesses. So many Wasicu (sorry Lakota) have Cherokee royal lines. Of course Cherokee people had no royalty. No Indian nation had such a thing.
Lunch is the midday meal in my neck of the woods, and at noon we ate out of lunch box or lunch bucket, or lunch pail. And in school, we always ate in the lunch room. Noon can be dinner on many farms where it was the biggest meal. Then there is Sunday Dinner, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Xmas Dinner, etc. Never heard of a Dinner bucket but I guess there are places that have that. Never had a dinner that was not served in the Dining Room
She is so very wise to have alternate plans. And such good ones too. And I always like it when people say “SUPPER” instead of the “D word”—one of my little peccadilloes. Please don’t hate me. :-)
