One can be angry over a specific thing like the placement and/or variety of plants in a mutual garden without it being a holdover from a previous disagreement. Why does everyone assume that Greg is still upset with Lawrence about his orientation? I think it is much more likely a clash of wills about the garden.

I always like the fact that Lynn turned all of her child characters into successful adults. Even Therese was a successful businesswoman. I’m not too sure that her 100% success rate is true in the real world, though.

Personally, I think he is disagreeing with Lawrence over the placement or variety of the flowers & shrubs. I’ve known folks who got downright angry over such things.

No, actually it isn’t. Connie sold her house to the Enjos a few years back and moved away. She married Greg and they moved back to Milborough and bought a house together across the street from Elly & John.

Yes. I think that this glaring contest is over the placement of the flowers/shrubs and has nothing to do with Lawrence’s orientation.

Greg never has been a dad to Lawrence. He has only been in Lawrence’s life for a couple of years. A teenage boy wouldn’t be considering or calling a stepfather who hasn’t been around for more than a year or two “Dad”.

I was going to say that it looks like something got erased, but then I went back and looked at the original b&w version and their bottoms are invisible there, too.

There’s a lot out there for women, too. One of the things I enjoyed in the past was putting together a doll house. It was fairly intricate and I had a lot of fun working on it until one of the cats was inside and got startled. He plowed his way out through some of the window openings and ruined the front of the house. I did repair that, but the heart went out of it for me. I’ve been getting the bug to do it again, but there isn’t any place for me to set up a work table in my current home. (Heavy sigh.)

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

The pool is finally refilled and almost clean. It’s due for a regular scheduled cleaning today and should be perfect once that’s done. (There’s still quite a bit of dirt & debris left on the bottom of the deep end from when they drained it.) Now all we have to do is worry about the spa. The local health district tested it a couple of weeks ago and it was positive for Legionnaires Disease. The pool guy was supposed to drain it when he drained the pool, but he hasn’t. If we reopen the pool tomorrow we’ll put up caution tape around the spa.

It’s another pretty day around here. We got up to 98 yesterday and the forecast is for the same. The humidity is hovering around 50% which is bad enough but better than the mid 70’s we have had.

I have given up on “Jurassic Park”. I had forgotten just how intense it gets once things start to go wrong. It’s not that it is particularly gruesome, just extremely intense. I found myself reading maybe 10 pages and then had to put it down for a while. It would take a very long time to finish a 400 page book that way.

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.
