   Here in the UK a texting system was introduced in 2016. We also get emails with a map of our blood’s journey. I believe Sweden was the first country to implement notifying donors though.

   Just thought I’d share with you all that my recent blood donation was sent to The Christie Hospital last Thursday. A specialist cancer hospital in Manchester. I feel so honoured. I have booked my next donation for January and it will be dedicated to Egrayjames.

   For those who missed my comment yesterday, I donated my 35th pint of blood. I took the day off work for it and now I’m going back today with a spring in my step.

    Good Morning Cappers. It’s just gone 9:30am here. It’s a Bank Holiday over here so I’m not at work.

    I wanted to let you all know that I’m doing great and to apologise for not commenting very often now.

    I want to give a shout out to Egrayjames and congratulate him on his recent blood donation a few days ago. Apparently I was the inspiration for him to start again which is so lovely to hear. I will be giving blood on 9th September.

    Once again I’m sorry for my lack of presence. It’s weird how many years ago that GoComics was my top priority but it’s not anymore. It goes without saying that it’s not what it used to be. It would be all right if Affie was still with us but he’s not. And that breaks my heart.

    I’m going back to bed for a few more hours now but I’ll be back later. Love you all very much.
