    Well, I said I could be wrong!, but my first impression was the toilet analogy, which depends on a flush to continue until the bowl is empty. Dealing with many clogs where the drain’s R > jX has led to some misery, but I now agree the air temp theory is better.

    I hovered my cursor on the panel to see the cursor change into a pointed hand. [CONTROL] click brought up a menu which includes “Save image as …”

    At a vacation location, I once saw someone’s out of state license on the sidewalk. Like Mutt, I placed in on a wall where it could be seen better. Three days later, it was still there, so I turned it in at the police station instead.

    I maybe wrong, but I assume the downdraft over such a big deep hole creates a flushing action that carries all debris down with it like the principle behind a modern commode.

    In an equivalent electronics design, coils do the same, if their impedance to a pulse of current “sees” more inductance than resistance ie: |Z| = R < jX .
