   A friend told me to use baby powder on top of the feeder. I was surprised to see that it worked! I now sprinkle it around the yard to keep ants out of certain areas. It doesn’t kill the ants, but I think the smell confuses them and they move to another area. I like it because it can be used in the yard without worry that it will hurt my dog.

   In Arkansas we have rain that it is about to turn into what is expected to be 3-5 inches of snow. Luckily we have had warm temps the past few days, so it shouldn’t be sticking to the roads much! I’m so ready to be done with winter and to get the plants set back in the yard and to get the garden growing…
