Another arc from the strip’s later period, in which the Bucky and Satchel relationship is a bit more cerebral, with comparatively less drama. I like it.
Slum is displaying more ire than I’ve ever seen him display (of course some who have more knowledge of the strip’s history may be aware of earlier such occurrences; that would be a matter best left to another discussion). The fact that he is about to offer a bit of reproof and correction to the Rube Brothers is most encouraging.
